5 Tips to Avoid Distracted Driving
Since April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, here are some tips to keep you focused on the road!
1) Adjust everything before you start moving. This mean your seats, mirrors, GPS and anything else that might tempt you to look away from the road while driving.
2) Finish your personal grooming at home before you decide to hit the road.
3) Let your passengers know you need to focus on the road to minimize distractions from other people in the car.
4) Try to eat before you get in your car. If you must eat on the go, remember to avoid foods that are messy.
5) If another activity demands your attention while you are driving, pull over to a safe place. To avoid temptation power down devices such as cell phones before getting in your car.

Songs About Cars
Cars and music go hand in hand. In fact, one of the best
things about driving is that we get to do it while listening to our favorite
tunes. Don’t believe me? Pay attention the next time you’re getting in your
vehicle. One of the first things we instinctively do right after getting in is
adjust the stereo.
We’re a nation that loves to drive and loves to listen to
music. So, it’s only natural that there have been a lot of songs written about cars
and driving. Some songs reference specific vehicles, like Prince’s “Little Red
Corvette.” Some are about the joy of driving, like Sammy Hagar’s “I Can’t Drive
55.”
We’ve listed a few of our favorite classic songs about
cars below. But, feel free to mention some others in the comments – maybe we
missed a few of your own favorite songs about cars.
“Drive” The Cars
“Cruisin” Smokey
Robinson
“Road Trippin” Red Hot Chili Peppers
“Life Is A Highway” Tom Cochrane
“Rockin Down the
Highway” Doobie Brothers
