Reasons to Use Your Turn Signal
1) To avoid an accident: Other drivers don’t know where you are trying to go or what you’re trying to do. Don’t assume that other people will just ‘stay out of your way’. A turn signal gives other drivers a heads up about your next move, and can help you to avoid a serious accident.
2) To be considerate: You’re not the only person on the road, and it’s important to remember when driving that everyone needs to look out for each other. Instead of causing other drivers to slam on their brakes signal before you change lanes so they have time to give you the proper amount of space!
3) To protect pedestrians: Your turn signal isn’t just for other drivers. Pedestrians need to cross the road too, and if you don’t use your signal they may just walk right in front of your car, which could cause an accident. If you use your signal, the pedestrian will know exactly where you are going, creating safer situation for everyone.
4) Lastly, there’s no good reason not to: Your turn signal doesn’t use up fuel or cost any extra money, so use it!

Three Ways to Keep Your Car Organized for the Summer
Let’s face it; it gets a little crazy over the summer. Your kids are always in and out of the car and it can get a little messy. Here are some tips to help your car survive the crazy days of summer.
1) Be Prepared: Have a tray or cardboard box in the back that holds the essentials. Some of these items could include extra clothing, emergency water bottles, trash bags, and paper towels.
2) Trash can: Keep at least one in the car at all times. Make sure you empty it when you stop to get gas or get out of the car. This will ensure that it doesn’t overflow and make a huge mess!
3) Rules: Make sure your kids know that their items are their responsibility. Set the expectation that anything that they bring in the car must leave the car when they get home.
